I've always been in awe of how marketing can capture a world of eyes to a small part of something I created. For that matter, something another human-being created. Marketing allows us to show the world something they knew nothing of. “Hey, look at this, you may or may not be interested!”. Of course there are two major forms of marketing. The “you need this right now, because it'll make you cool” and “This thing is fun, try some” methods. Mostly things that are bad for you they say “this thing is fun, try some”. Other wise they are the former. Either way, marketing can be fun, but how much fun can it be if you are doing it wrong? You can market wrong? Hell, not marketing is a good sign you are doing it wrong.
Marketing has a way of being comforting when you present it to people in a “with” fashion. Otherwise, a “to” presentation is overwhelming or just too intrusive. In people's faces can be scary. Too much, or too little of something can go backwards. So, how does one know what and where to begin? I also start with the basics. Simple and small. Get the buzz out there by creating the buzz. Start talking about it yourself. Let everyone know it is out there somewhere and somehow it is waiting for you. What is waiting for you? The marketing to get your stuff out there! Do, do, do... okay I started singing for a moment. The idea is the simple start helps lend a hand to a larger outcome.
Once you have create a buzz, remember to hear out your personal options for marketing growth. I have always used marketing to further my career. Be it music, acting, comedy, even in life or business. It's one of the 3 needs of success. Bring reality to the situation by finding some sense of gravity to your purpose. It's beautiful to know that anything can happen. Be it loss, or gain. The idea is that you let your mind let go off either, and embrace the power of now. Once you have that in your hand your marketing will flow into a life of its own natural grace. Market you, your dreams, your ideals. Waiting for the market to find you will take far too long. So, and a little “ing” at the end and spring, bring, and dream, hmm, marketing, it gets things done!
